All our mining operations are fully authorised with mining rights, while both the mining and farming operations have the requisite water usage licenses. Our environmental projects also extend to our host communities through the hosting of awareness campaigns.

Menar and its subsidiaries align with industry bodies such as the Bettercoal Assessment Process to promote responsible mining practices. Supported by our membership in the United Nations Global Compact, we also advocate for sustainable practices across all our operations. We rely on our team of capable environmental officers to conduct regular monitoring and ensure that we put measures in place to protect the environment.
