Mining Journalism Training

Since 2017, Menar’s annual Mining Journalism Training workshop has created a platform for aspirant and young journalists to learn from experts and senior reporters with extensive industry knowledge. Given the multifaceted nature of operations, and the technical language involved in the mining industry, we understand that journalists need more support to help broaden their knowledge base.


Menar Youth Club

The Menar Youth Club aims to encourage growth amongst young employees through developing their skills and mining industry knowledge.  This creates the ideal environment for leadership development and mentorship to take place. 


Job Shadowing Programme

The Job Shadowing programme is an opportunity for a young person to spend time observing a member of the Menar team as they go about their daily activities. The mentee will get a view of the various tasks involved in being at the helm of a busy corporation.
